The console designed and manufactured by NEC and Hundson Soft, also known as the TurboGrafx-16 Entertainment SuperSystem in the US edition.

It was a transition product between the era of 8bit consoles like the Nintendo Entertainment System and 16 bit (like Super Nintendo or Sega Mega Drive).

Although promoted for the first 16bit product, it really only had a 16bit video processor.
